Yes, He-Man's sister is back...sort of...in this new Funny or Die video that brings the Princess of Power to NBC in a new series that keeps getting retooled...and retooled...and retooled.
The piece is from Danny Jelinick, who's done such Funny or Die hits as "Fifty Shades of Blue" with Selena Gomez and the recent Michael Shannon reading the insane sorority girl email short. I'm not sure if this is supposed to parody NBC's attempt at a "Wonder Woman" show a few years back, or their desperation for an audience, or just how everything from the 1980s keeps getting rebooted, but overall, it's pretty amusing.
Kylie Minogue portrays Adora...or in this case, "She-Ra Weintraub," who finds herself in the midst of many personal dramas, not least of which is a tortured relationship with Skeletor, aka "Skelly," played by Alfie Allen, Theon Greyjoy on "Game of Thrones."
Two notes on this: 1) Hey! Everyone knows She-Ra fought HORDAK, not Skeletor! Get it right or pay the price! and 2) Given what he's just been through on "GoT," only losing the skin off his face should be a cakewalk for ol' Alfie.
